Rutgers University was his next step. However, after realizing that he was gifted in acting and the fact being able to earn an income from his incredible acting abilities the school was closed. In the American TV series Another World the actor made his debut in TV. In the span of two years, he portrayed the main role in Wolf Lake on CBS. In the cult American television series The Vampire Diaries he played the role of Stefan Salvatore. He also has directed several episodes of the television series. Since his debut in the film The Last Run he has played in numerous popular movies. In the last few years He has also appeared in Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer. He's also famous on social media. He has over 13 million Instagram followers as well as more than 4.1 million Twitter followers.
